Air Force Scholar Selected for O-7

Colonel Tim Fay was recently selected for promotion to Brigadier General.  He is currently the Commander, 2nd Bomb Wing, Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale AFB, LA.  He is being assigned as Deputy Director, Command and Control and Nuclear Operations, J3, Joint Staff, Pentagon.  Colonel Fay was an Olmsted Scholar in the Class of 1997 and studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Scholar Nominated for 3rd Star

Rear Admiral Kurt Tidd has been nominated for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and for assignment as Director for Operations, J-3, Joint Staff, Pentagon.  He is currently serving as Commander, US Naval Forces Southern Command/Commander U.S. Fourth Fleet, Mayport, FL.  Admiral Tidd was an Olmsted Scholar, Class of 1984, and studied in Bordeaux, France.  He also serves as the active duty Navy director on the Olmsted Foundation's Board of Directors.

Olmsted Team Raises Record Amount
