RDML Tidd, USN & OSC 84/Bordeaux Assigned as Vice Director, J-3

Chief of Naval Operations ADM Gary Roughead announced on 21 Jul 09 that RDML Kurt W. Tidd, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral, will be assigned as Vice Director for Operations, J3, Joint Staff, Washington, DC.  Tidd is currently serving as Commander, Carrier Strike Group Eight, Norfolk, VA.
