Air Force Olmsted Scholar Promoted BTZ to Lt Col Major Tim Kuehne, OSC 07 (Fudan University, Shanghai, China) was selected for promotion to Lt Col two years below the zone on the Air Force's recently released promotion list. Major Kuehne returned last summer from his overseas Olmsted Scholar Program in Shanghai and now is the China Desk Officer in Strategic Plans and Policy (J5), the Joint Staff. In his current job, Maj Kuehne was able to return to Shanghai during the President's trip to China and participate in his graduation ceremony at Fudan University, where he was the top graduate in his program (#1 of 203) - well done! Congratulations on this outstanding career achievement!
