Two Army Olmsted Scholars Slated for Battalion Command LTC Chris Coglianese, OSC 03, Mumbai, India and LTC Paul Edgar, OSC 03, Tel Aviv, Israel were both recently selected for battalion command. LTC Cogliance is currently the Battalion XO, 1st Battalion, 8th Cavalry, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1 CD at Ft Hood, TX. He will remain at Ft Hood where he will command a Stability Transition Team. LTC Edgar is currently an exchange officer in Amman, Jordan and he will be commanding 4th Battalion, 3rd Infantry (The Old Guard), Washington, DC. Congratulations to both for achieving such an important career milestone!

I must apologize as I neglected to keep up my current assignments in my profile. I was just recently the XO for the Division Special Troops Battalion of 1st Cavalry Division.
