LTG (Ret) Rick Brown Honored with USMA Distinguished Graduate Award LTG Rick Brown, USA, Ret, a member of the Olmsted Scholar Class of 1960 who studied in Geneva, Switzerland, was presented the 2010 Distinguished Graduate Award by the West Point Association of Graduates of the United States Military Academy. General Brown graduated from the USMA in 1956 and entered the Armor branch. He served in a large number of important positions during his 32 years of active duty, including duty on the Army Staff, the Joint Staff, and the National Security Council Staff. He continued to make many important contributions to the Army following his retirement in 1989. See the attached citation for a full account.
