Olmsted Foundation Liaison Program Launched
Posted: Sep 18, 2007 | Posted By: Dave Estep

The Olmsted Foundation Liaison Program was launched on a limited basis in March 2007.  The purpose of the program is to provide designated Olmsted Scholars as liaison officers between the Foundation and select military installations, education and training institutions, and university ROTC programs for all four military services.

The liaison program currently includes three regions on the East Coast of the United States (Northeast Region, Mid-Atlantic Region and Southeast Region).  It will eventually expand nationwide to include a total of 9 regions that will provide liaison officers to promote the Foundation, its mission and its programs to hundreds of installations and institutions across the country.  To view the proposed regional listings and the initial major institutions of focus click on the Attachments to this article.  For a more detailed discussion of the Liaison Officer program go to Olmsted Foundation Liaison Program in the Undergraduate Program section of the website.
